Why can I still see an offboarded employee in payroll?
The Offboarding feature allows you to schedule the offboarding for users at any time. This is a great way to help you stay on top of your work load as you do not need to wait until an employee's last day to take care of their offboarding journey and all termination related tasks.
If you have offboarded someone in the platform in advance of their actual termination date, then you will still be able to take payroll related actions for that employee during the last month in which they have an active contract in. This allows you to process their final salary and any End of service awards in the payroll along with the rest of your team if you wish. You can also process their final salary in advance of the official payroll, allowing you maximum flexibility.
Not to worry though, the terminated employee will be removed from the payroll for all future months once their final salary has been processed.
