What time tracking methods can I use for my team?

In palm.HR we are all about empowering your team. The platform contains three options that allow you and your team to track and self report attendance.

Mobile App Check in

Using their smartphones, this option allows your team members to clock in and out at the tap of a button on their mobile phone at the start and end of their work day.

If you use the Mobile App Check In feature, you can also turn on Geofencing. This enables you and your team members to not only report when you started and ended your work day, but also where by recording the location of your team’s attendance records. You can even set up a radius to give your team some flexibility for how far from their assigned location they are allowed to be before they are flagged.

Biometric Device Integration

Your team can also record their attendance by clocking in and out on a biometric device. We have two types of biometric device integrations available:

Using ZKTeco attendance software BioTime 8.5 and integrating the software with your palm.HR platform.
- This option allows you to get the attendance information from your team, in real time, from the Device into the timesheets on palm.HR and is free.

Integration of your compatible biometric device using an API from our partners CAMs
- This option uses an API service to connect your device with your palm.HR to relay the attendance information from your device or devices, to the timesheets feature in the platform.

Manual Import

You can also add the attendance details for your team using the Manual Import option. This option allows you to download a template from the platform. Once the template is populated you can upload it into the platform ensuring that your team’s attendance data is added to the timesheets.

This is a great option in case your team members are inactive users on the platform, or if you do not intend to use any of the previously mentioned time tracking methods.
