How can I onboard an employee that was previously offboarded?

In case you have an employee who was previously offboarded and will now return, you can onboard them again using one out of the two following methods:

Cancel Scheduled Offboarding



Go to the Team section



Select the Offboarding tab



Select the "Scheduled" tab



Find the employee who's offboarding you would like to cancel and click on the "x" on the far left of the screen. This will undo the offboarding process return the user to their state prior to the initiation of the offboarding process.



Any pending action center items in the payroll such as the leave encashment or End of Service Benefit will be removed when the Offboarding is cancelled.


Previously Offboarded Employee Returning to Work with same Email and Employee ID



Disclaimer: This option is only available in cases where the employee was not paid EOS or Leave encashment using the payroll feature. If the employee did receive an end of service award or Leave encashment and this was processed in the payroll, it is not possible to revert the offboarding. A new user must be onboarded to the system instead.

Go to the Team section



Select the Offboarding tab



Select the "Completed" tab



Search for the employee who's offboarding you would like to revert, and click on the employee's name



In the menu on the left, select "Offboard":



Click on the "Revert" button to undo the offboarding and reactivate the user's profile and contract



Revert offboarded employee will restore all items as they were before employee was offboarded if possible, excluding vacation requests that fall in range of consumed days. Exceptions: - Line Manager and reportee relationship may not be restored, please verify your team's Organizational Structure once employee has been restored -
