# How can I edit loan policies?

### To edit loan policies, follow these steps: 

1. From the menu on the top right corner of the screen access the "Settings"

2. Select the "Pay" tab to open the pay settings

3.Select the 'Loan' option from the menu

4.Modify the settings for the loan form by clicking on the pen icon designated for editing.

||| _1- __Maximum Loan Amount__: Users can request a maximum of up to the specified multiples of their basic salary._
||| _2- __Repayment Duration__: The maximum period allowed allowed to repay the loan in. This is the specific number of months during which the loan must be repaid in._
||| _3- __Minimum Employment Period__: Users must have worked for at least the specified period to be eligible to request a loan. This ensures some stability in their employment before accessing financial assistance for their employer._
||| _4- __Bank Account Blocking__: If activated, this option restricts employees from changing their bank account within the platform until they pay back their loans._

These policies aim to balance the needs of employees for financial assistance with the institution's considerations for risk management and operational efficiency.

4. Click "Save" to update the policy
