How can I allow employees to check in from any location?
In the new remote world, we don’t always work from the same place each day. The our geofencing feature allows you to ensure that your team is always checking in from the place they are supposed to be in. But what if your team works from multiple locations? Or if you have a fully remote team?
Read below to learn how to allow your team maximum flexibility while also ensuring that everyone is able to report their attendance regardless of their location.
To assign users to multiple locations at once follow the steps below:
Go to the profile of the employee you would like to add multiple locations to
Select the “Contracts” section
Select “Location”
Scroll down to find the “Additional Locations” section
From the dropdown menu, select the locations you would like to assign to your team
Save your selection
Once this is done, the user will be able to check in from any of the locations they have been assigned to using the mobile app check in without triggering any violations on the their timesheet.
This is especially important to do if your locations have Geofence Limitation settings activated which would prevent employees from being able to report their attendance if their GPS location is outside of the set radius for their assigned location.
