How can I activate two factor authentication?

Two Factor Authentication



You can help your team keep their accounts on palm.HR secure by activating Two Factor Authentication. This feature allows each user to receive a one time code to their email address when they log in, or to use Google Authenticator in order to log into their palm.HR account. This helps ensure maximum security for your team’s palm.HR accounts and data.


To activate Two Factor Authentication you must follow the following steps:


Ensure that you have been assigned to the “Security Administrator” permission group

Once you have ensured that you have the correct permissions, open the platform Settings and select the “Security” Tab



Simply toggle the Two Factor Authentication setting on by clicking on the pencil icon.



Activate Two factor Authentication by turning on the toggle and then select the type of Two factor Authentication that you would like to use, and set your desired passcode expiry time. Once you finish this you can save and Two Factor Authentication will have been successfully activated.



Make sure you let your team know about the new security settings to ensure that your team mates can take advantage of the updated security protocols to keep their accounts and data safe.
